It is recognised by the UK Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA). The Register is a member of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #373737; font-family: '&amp;quot',serif; font-size: 11.5pt;\">The Unipower GT Register is informal, unfunded and non-profit making. Simply, it comprises current owners, many of whom have considerable real-world experience restoring, maintaining and developing the cars and who can provide practical assistance with technical and other queries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #373737; font-family: '&amp;quot',serif; font-size: 11.5pt;\">The general aims of the Register are to:<br \/>\n1. Record and maintain a database of surviving cars<br \/>\n2. Validate origin and history of cars for existing or potential owners<br \/>\n3. Help owners with technical and specification queries<br \/>\n4. Promote the use and enjoyment of the iconic Unipower GT<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #373737; font-family: '&amp;quot',serif; font-size: 11.5pt;\">Changes are made to the database as and when cars are rediscovered or new info emerges. It&#8217;s currently thought that around 40 cars remain of the original 72 manufactured. Where are the others?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #373737; font-family: '&amp;quot',serif; font-size: 11.5pt;\">One long-time Unipower GT owner holds some original factory documentation about the cars and other validated information. This includes the production records for every car manufactured.
